Debicella Endorsed by US Chamber of Commerce

Press Release

The US Chamber of Commerce announced their endorsement today of businessman Dan Debicella for Congress in Connecticut's 4th District.

In their endorsement, the Chamber stated, "Dan Debicella's record of support on pro-business issues earned him this endorsement. In today's economy, it is critical that Members of Congress provide strong support of free enterprise and leadership for policies that will return the United States to its full growth potential. We believe that Dan's election to the U.S. House of Representatives will help produce sustained economic growth, help create jobs, and get our country back on track."

The US Chamber's goal to help elect a pro-business majority in Congress and work diligently in support of the interests of businesses to advance legislation that encourages economic growth, job creation, and a less intrusive federal government.

"I am honored to have the endorsement of the US Chamber of Commerce," said Debicella. "The Chamber and its members understand that our current economy is not acceptable and that we need to fight for pro-growth policies that will grow jobs and expand the middle-class. We cannot accept the mediocrity of the Jim Himes economy--we can do better than this.

"As a businessman, I understand that need and have put forward a detailed plan to get our economy growing again. My jobs plan has three key components. First, we will eliminate special interest loopholes in both the personal and corporate tax code, and use that money to lower rates for middle class families and small businesses. Second, we will provide tax incentives for small business to hire and retrain the long term unemployed--who have been hurt worst in the last four years. Third, we will have immigration reform that allows hard working people and entrepreneurs to come to our country to helps spur economy growth."
